.NET Developer – Financial Services – Cork (Hybrid)

Location: Cork City (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)
Salary: €60,000–€75,000 DOE + pension + bonus
Tech: C#, .NET 6/7, SQL Server, Azure, Web API, REST, Entity Framework

About the Role

We're partnered with a major player in the financial services sector who are growing their internal development team. This is a hands-on .NET role where you'll be building enterprise-scale platforms used across Europe.

You’ll be joining a tech-driven environment working alongside Senior Engineers, QA, Product and DevOps teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and developing scalable applications using .NET 6+, C#, and SQL Server

• Building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices

• Working on cloud-hosted solutions (Azure) in a secure, regulated environment

• Collaborating with a wider technical team including UI/UX and DevOps

• Participating in sprint planning, code reviews and architecture discussions

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of commercial experience in C# / .NET development

• Strong knowledge of SQL databases and writing efficient queries

• Experience working with Web APIs, REST, and ideally Azure

• Exposure to unit testing and SOLID principles

• Previous experience in financial services or regulated sectors is a bonus but not essential
